Course Description
Teacher in Charge:
Students build on their current Drama skills and apply them at a more advanced level:
- Students learn to apply Drama Techniques in a scripted environment with more complex characters.
- Devised Drama deals with more dramatic topics and ask students to examine life experiences beyond their own.
- Students participate in a class production in more advanced roles that require them to work in a more focused and meaningful way.
- Students view live productions and analyze them with a greater understanding of what it means to be a performer having experienced it themselves.
Recommended Prior Learning
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Achieved 90006 (Apply drama techniques in a dramatic context) and 90999 (Use features of drama/theatre form in a performance), or HLA approval.
