Course Description
In Year 12, students take their coding skills to the next level. They explore advanced programming concepts such as data structures, recursion, and sorting algorithms. They develop more sophisticated applications and projects, applying their knowledge to tackle complex problems and optimize code efficiency. Students refine their design skills through the development of user-centered design solutions that prioritize usability and accessibility in digital environments.
Projects may include:
- Canva Business Card Design
- Short Film Development
- Short Animation
- Interactive web application using JavaScript
- Data visualization project using Python libraries
- Mobile app development using React Native
- Database management system project
- Software optimization project
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Students taking this course will be required to pay $30 towards take home film costume, props or sfx makeup for student project.
