Literacy and Numeracy Support

Students that opt to take these classes will learn about the world around them and decisions that they will face while gaining a deeper understanding of Literacy and Numeracy fundamentals. These classes are designed to give identified students support to not only succeed across all areas of the curriculum and the Co-Requisite Assessment, but also set students up for success beyond the kura. 

These courses give students that have areas of weakness in Literacy and/or Numeracy, the opportunity to learn required content through real world scenarios. The curriculum is designed around both the new curriculum and what will be required from students to pass the Literacy and Numeracy Co-Requisite Assessments for NCEA Level One.
